I hate not being able to sleep.
Been through 10 pages of the 100 series and 10 pages of the 200 series forums.
I guess my "porn" is dove for the night, the damn puppy will be awake soon.

My turn in the barrel. In the valley for one night and can't sleep. Whole king size to myself would think I would sleep like a baby. Usually can't move because of a dog or cat. That and getting use to sleeping with the windows open and the sound of crickets. Windows closed and the humm of the A/C isn't same. Counting dollars signs isn't as comforting as counting sheep and isn't putting me to sleep. Direct TV just did a softwareup date and the satellite box I bring to town now can't be reset to a different style dish. I did bring my usual 80 or so traveling CDs along and have a portable stereo cabinet. No one to tell me to turn it down. :hmm:

Very quiet, just the hum of the refrigerator to keep me company. The anticipation of finding the perfect next project has my mind working overtime, why does the Landcruiser make us dream of adventure?

Are you thinking about your next work project or vehicle project?

You guys need to keep it down, some of us are able to sleep fine. I recommend a couple number 6's before bedtime.

Currently thinking about the feasibility of new menu options for future camping potlucks.

A clock ticks, the dog snores softly, and my neighbor's pool pump hums quietly in the distance.

Overlanding has my mind conjuring up long nights and being awakened by my camping buddy @verruckt1 , banging his stove and coffee pot. 2017, the year we say goodbye for now to @jclarke450 and Family. I credit the Clarkes for making the outings family fun.

1, 2, 3... Counting Land Cruisers going up the trail.

Cricket, cricket...
