Inside door skins

Starting to put my 55 back together. Dumped the stock door skin tabs for the plastic clips. Obviously, they are not hidden, as seen in the pic below, but I think they are funcitonal and fit the bill, as it were, to hold the skins in place.

they look just fine. i got a whole bunch of those christmas trees...maybe i'll do that also.

I like that look, also the functionality. You don't have to break the panel trying to find where the friggin' clips are.

homemade skins

I made these because the originals were broken in pieces and rotted in places. I used the stock tabs, what a PITA! Where'dya get them fancy plastic clips? also, where'dya get the rubber strips around the door sill?

The weather stripping on the inside of the door is from J.C. Whitney. Can't remember the size and such. They have a big selection.
