Hi,
Last week I've done some maintenance to my 1HDT, timing belt, water pump and fuel filter. And noticed the Tik tik coming from the ACSD, as some described in other forum it means it's failing, so I'm thinking about removing it.
But something also started happening that I don't know the cause... My car use to start just needing a small turn of the key/ crank and now, after the maintenance, it needs a bit more time cranking and sometimes a second crank. And something that is also happening is if I do a pull ( floor a second gear) and then take it out of gear the RPMs instead of dropping to the normal idle the RPMs fall to that, then to around 400RPMs ( for several seconds) and then back to normal.
After the engine starts and idles for a bit if I turn it off and back on again it starts as it used to. Just "half crank" and it's on.
Air going in the fuel circuit? ACSD? Any thoughts?
Cheers
