Ive tried to be pretty diligent on my search and have come up empty handed. On the back side of my injection pump where the fuel lines exit I have a leak between the cast iron body and the thin plate mounted to it. It’s not leaking above or to the sides of this area nor at the fuel lines themselves. Where would be the first places I should check? Attached is a picture (not mine) where the pump is leaking from and the plate it is seeping down (marked in green)
The pump was rebuilt 2 years ago as well.

There is a large O ring between the distributive head (the cast iron part) and the pump body. It could also be leaking from the the fuel shut-off solenoid on the top side of the distributive head, trickling down in the gap between the head and body. This interface tends to suffer from galvanic corrosion between the two metals. If the sealing bore of the head was corroded, a new O ring might not fix this. Seal kits I have seen for the pumps often miss the solenoid O ring, so this might have been re-used.

Either way, the only fix is to dismantle and put new seals on perfect sealing surfaces. Taking the distributive head off (or rather getting it back in) in-situ is very tricky and not recommended.
