Nice Granite! My 5150's will be here Friday (From Jack-it of Utah) and will be on Sunday. (Along with Specters new "Extreme" Rear ubolt skid plates, HFS Barbell Shackles, greasable pins, Aussie Poly Bushings, Ubolts, greasable spring hangers) Should be pretty solid after that. What size 5150's did you get? the 11" travels? 255/70 I assume?

Trap - I measured out 27" eye to eye at the rears (almost fully stuffed), and I think there was a hair more travel there. The 10" were too small obviously, so I got the 12" (11.93") travel shocks. And wouldn't you know, the fronts were 25.5", and that is almost too small for the fronts... so I just went up a size there, too - Makes for the same size all around - 12" shocks... part # BFS-A187-H1

and, yeah - 255/70 valving. The 11.5"s only had 170/60 valving.

yup, yours is taller, I got the BFS-A186-H1, the ten inch travels in 255/70, they have nearly 3 inches to give on the compression side and just barely out strip the extension (an inch or so) plus the posts for the front make the extension a bit larger since the shock body ends up a little lower than with an eye. Can't wait to get them on.

I was in Farmington, NM at a place called Choke Cherry Canyon IIRC ina spot called "upper playground"

Well, ten hours on Sunday and now the new shackles, greasable pins, bushings, ubolt skidplates and BILSTEIN 5150's are on....its like a new truck. Those 5150's ride nice!!!
