I'm looking at a used gx460 that is states away. Hoping someone on here built or knows who built it.... It is a black 2018 premium with icon lift, unknown bumpers front and rear from ad, rhino roof rack, superwinch in front bumper, and it is on 35s. It's been a northeast car for its life and is wrapped in an orangish wrap.

Hardly buy vehicles this far away without knowing more information hoping someone here may know something about it .

Gotta say those bumpers are just disgusting... also since it's wrapped who knows the paint condition. Guess if you have a use for all that stuff at 43k it's on par with other 2018 Premiums.

If it's the same GX as Acrad posted above, I've never seen that GX on this forum before.
That color would absolutely standout. The few vinyl wraps I've seen have been usually matte grays/blacks.
Sorry, no other info. Good luck!

Great color. Hook 'em Horns :).

If it's a NE vehicle, better get pics of the undercarriage. Also, I would run the VIN on the Lexus Drivers site to see what the maintenence history is, if any. Otherwise, if you're a fan of the add-ons, the price is pretty reasonable.

Assuming its not rusted to hell, a rebuilt title, or a concerning service history this is solid deal if the aesthetics are to your liking. You'd be hard pressed to build a GX with that mileage and those mods for less.

Not sure why everyone's is hitting that GX for rust. Other than the untasteful bumpers that car looks clean. I bought a MI/OH car and the carolina's have nearly no rust issues. The few photos they have of the winch and undercarriage shows no significant rust. If that is the car I wouldn't have an issue purchasing. My GX is 10 years old with a lot of rust and it's a pain to treat, but I'd take that undercarriage all day in comparison. Either way I would always do fluid film yearly treatments.

I got service records and might go buy it tomorrow if my gladiator trades for what I want. Just hope it looks as good in person if I drive 600 miles. Other than regear there are no tire size calibrator I can find for the Lexus?

I was looking at Lexus maintenance the other night... it appears it was taken in a number of times for infotainment issues.

I wouldn't be too worried about it then. You can always swap it out or get a maintenance plan if you really are worried about it, OP.

Underside looks great from the posted pictures. I'm wondering if it has been a mall crawler.

That's not necessarily a bad thing when buying used. I have been wondering if this was built for shows/marketing if they actually did the work you really need for 35s (bmc, final drive, bumpstops, etc) or if this was just rolled into shows so it didn't matter. That shouldn't be a deal breaker as you can always downsize tires or finish the work yourself, but I'm curious.

Judging by wheel and bumper selection I would say it was built to drive to the mall.
