In need of window channel (5 Viewers)

I removed my hardtop and now I'm baking in the sun. A couple of different club members offered to give me their old window channels but I don't remember who they were. I'm hoping someone local will have one since I'm in need of a top asap.

A free one would be great but I'm willing to purchase it for a reasonable price.

I ordered a top from TPI and I'm thinking it will be here this week.
I'm not certain it will work with my channel, so if it doesn't then I'll just give you my old top with the channel.
I'll let you know. Otherwise, I'll just give you the top. I can meet up sometime over the weekend.

Sounds good Pat, I appreciate it. I plan to drive the FJ a lot more often now that it rides so much better without the hardtop.

opps they are using a supertop pic BUT selling the old tiger top(discontinued) part number which I cant get BUT I can get the new supertop with 2 piese doors for $949.99 plus tax or the top with no doors $601.99 plus tax with the LSLC discount... Sorry I should have rear thier fine print not just look at the pics.


alsp the Tiger top goes on with snaps not a channel, so you have to drill holes in the side of the truck

Still has the same shape of window BUT the side and rear window zip out and it a channel at the body not snaps

Got my new top. My old top is closer to a family top, but its still yours if you want it.
I think my channel I have will work with the top from TPI though.

Thanks for the top Pat! I cleaned it up & made a window channel out of aluminium. I'm not sure if it will work but I'll give it a shot this evening after I sew up the torn areas.

Cool...no problem. Hey, if you don't use or need those extra straps on the sides, then I could use them on my new top.

Absolutely, you can have them. I trimmed it down so that it's no longer a family top. I also removed the side straps.
