Importing HZJ73 from Ecuador to USA

The only ones you'd have a chance with are the gassers.

Ah...just saw this. Makes sense. If the car you're trying to bring in has the same motor as the USA version, you'd need to have it modified to meet all USA emissions requirements before importing. Between this and all the other mods you'd need to have done, it would essentially turn out to be the same as a USA spec car when you're done. Which would strongly imply that you're better off just buying a USA spec car to begin with. Of course. Checkmate USA government.

Thankfully the golden standard for automobiles, the '97 Chevy Cavalier, is importable.
I have to assume you misspoke and meant to actually say the '77 Chevy Vega. (The pennacle of G.M. engineering)

Nope, It's the 'Vette. The Chevette.

And now it’s gone! Oh well, lost about 3k for 3 months of driving one of my dream vehicles in Ecuador. New owner is a local going to medical school. His parents invited us in the house to count the money and have some coffee and desserts. Plenty of wonderful people in Ecuador.
