Saw these 2 imports in Charleston at I think the guys place is Turkeys?? Its under the bridge by California Dreaming.

Sorry for the poor pics but all I had was a cell phone.

I was definately liking getting to see one in person, but I am just not too sure how I would like RHD.

I dont know prices but from what I remember about this guy they will prob be kinda high. 60 had a high roof and a sunroof and I know the 40 was diesel.

he also has 2-3 more 40 series, i believe they are all rhd and possibly one is a diesel. yes a little pricey, but they tend to be in pretty good condition

His prices are pretty high but they have all the paperwork taken care of and they are fully legal. They are also very clean usually. There is another diesel 40 in Mt. Pleasant for sale right now but I haven't had time to stop and check it out.

My wife and i saw one of these when we went down to charleston not too long ago and they were pretty pricey, but awesome though. Not our price range . . . then again our range is anything for $1, haha. jk

Heres there website.... http://turkys.com/

They always have some awesome cars imported there. There was a 40 for sale in North Charleston recently that looked like it was in awesome condition. I see it for sale on rivers avenue if anyones ever seen it. I see it parked at the place it was for sale every once in awhile.

Wow yeah it was clean, but not $20K clean. Man that could almost get you a nice 100 series! These cannot cost that much to import.

I thought Marshall was looking into doing some importing stuff????

I see 40's from time to time on Aus eBay for decent, shipping cant cost more than what $2K?

And it cant be that much to legalize them. I think a lot of the cars he imports are from new zealand it seems like. That would be a lot of fun to have. I want one of those minis for a fun DD.

That one was bought by the guy in Mt. Pleasant and is now for sale on his lot on Coleman, if it was tan with an external cage and huge front bumper

I know where you can get a nice 100 series for less than $20k...I just have to decide to sell it :)

Saw that one yesterday. I'll stop and check it out sometime to see if this is the tan that I want to paint mine.

If I call him and set up an appointment, would you mind checking it out for me?

I could definately check it out for you. I am usually available mornings and will be available all weekend up until about 2pm each day. Wednesday or Friday I will be available all day. If you can set up a time PM me and I will send you my phone number.

If I keep the 100 the boys keep pressuring me to "make it big like the monster truck"

I SO do not need a built 100. I would prefer a 4 banger for the mileage (and if it can do 0-6o in sub 5...that works too hehe)

Are you calling John and I "the boys"?

Sub 5 to 60? SORF can do it in 4 easy minutes.:grinpimp:

Reminds me of my 55 sticker: 0 to 60 in 5 minutes
