Important update regarding GSMTR 2020 (1 Viewer)

The STLCA is committed to carrying on the tradition of the Great Smoky Mountain Trail Ride for the 29th year. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has caused many things to change in the way we can socialize. That being said, we are implementing some additional changes to this year’s event. Earlier this year we made the difficult decision to reschedule GSMTR to October 26th - 31st, 2020. In an effort to keep our staff and participants safe, we have decided to make the following changes for the 2020 event. We are limiting the number of driver registrations to 100 this year. In addition, there will be no onsite registration available. We feel that by taking these precautions we can minimize the risk to all of our attendees. We will take necessary measures to help you follow social distancing guidelines during the event. We also ask that if you or anyone in your family is sick, has a fever or you think you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay home.



We will continue to update you to any changes that may be necessary as GSMTR 2020 approaches. Thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you at Windrock Park in the Fall!

You're fine. The order number that the website generates isn't your actual place in the registration count.

I registered on March 9th and didn't get a refund so I assume I am good. I went to the STLCA web site and and saw this: Order #2039 was placed on March 9, 2020 and is currently Completed. I will be very upset if I am not registered and I miss this event.

You are most likely just fine. I had registered back in feb, promptly forgot about it, and then registered a second time. I was refunded my second registration, as my first was still good.

If you registered earlier in the year you are all set. Nothing else needs to be done. The message saying that your order is complete means that we have processed it on our end.

FYI, windrock park just #covidcanceled their Fall Jamboree, which was Oct 15-17. Wondering if GSMTR is going to be pushed/canceled again

My hope, FWIW is that the jamboree was way bigger than GSMTR, especially now with the 100 registrant cap, and we can continue on. I’m planning to be at windrock that week regardless.

Hoping they don’t cancel GSMTR but if they do. I will make more likely make the trip to windrock anyway.
