Would be a 3rd vehicle for the wife and I... I need an “airport” car for getting back and forth to the airport early in the AM and my wife would like something she can throw a surfboard or a kayak on top of and go. We were looking at several options but I saw this and now I’m wondering, how in over my head would I be with a well-used 60? Thanks for the advice/input!

Aside from those Chevy truck mirrors, that’s a nice looking truck.

Just do your due diligence and make sure the listing and seller are legit before you send $$

Looks very clean & well-cared for. Mechanicals are straightforward on these, so I wouldn’t have any concerns there. I drive the hell out of mine & it has a salvaged title.

Almost 10k miles in one year of ownership. Only a broken TRE offroading. Just like yours, it was a fender-bender that caused mine to be totalled. Biggest issue that I can’t see is potential frame rust. Crawl under & take a look-especially near the rear wheels. A bit high in price for a salvage, but it looks & reads like a solid truck. I have some rust, but paid under 1/2 of what he’s asking for mine.

Biggest hurdle for me right now is that I’m in Florida and he’s in Utah. I can fly out to check it out and purchase to drive back, but I would love it if someone familiar with 60s wouldn’t mind taking a peek before I make that trek just to be potentially disappointed.

To me, the branded title makes the price go down considerably. Would be much harder to sell. I, for one, would never buy a vehicle with a branded title.
