For some reason MUD is not working for me at home. Every other website I go to works, but MUD just says "Connecting to http://www.ih8mud.com/" and never connects or times out.

It doesn't work on either of my computers, a Dell wired into the router, and my PowerBook over wireless.

I reset the router and both computers to see if that worked, no go.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

some strange connectivity issues across the internet since yesterday....I've been YM'ing with a few folks....can't find any consistency right now, and am blaming a bottleneck somewheres on the interweb until I find a better solution...

I have had a few folks report this, not just with 'mud but with their own sites that we host too. I haven't been able to track down any definite problems though. Here's how you can help. If you can't get to mud from a connection, then report the problem at this form:

http://www.ih8mud.com/reportproblem.html

If that's not possible, then look at the instructions at work or wherever you *can* access mud, and then take it home and when you get there, do the traceroute and the email the results to support@rykoala.org, or you can even post them here at a later date. Whatever is easiest for you is ok with me. I'l lbe checking back.

thanks Ryko ;)

(course, mine's been working smooth as silk for most of the morning...hate it when I can't dulicate oddities...)

mine doesn't work at the house either. edit: just tried the traceroute thing, not able to due to restricted access.

I did not have an email to a single post all day, and ten minutes ago I got about 30 at one time.
