Question - The ceramic piece above my ignitor coil is really hot . Is this normal? Its between the ignitor assemble and coil. Looks like a rect. rock?

Sounds like a ballast resistor....should get somewhat hot because of heat generated by resisting/lowering voltage....
some what.... but should not be red hot or anthing

Yep, I really don't really care that much I guess.
They get nice and hot. It is normal.
