Ignition key VS mileage on your rig

Question,did you ever try to compare the wear on the ignition key if its according with the current mileages? I have a 1987 fj60 with 137xxx miles and a fj40 1976 with 68xxx miles and the fj60 key show way lot usage than the fj40. I know that the 60 have more places where you need to use the key>> 3 lock doors and fuel door...the 40 just the fuel door and ignition...I know this should be on chit chat..
