I know most people do the fj80 conversion when it comes to upgrading your power steering on there 60s but is there any reason you couldn't run the ifs power steering box

um it has the wrong bolt pattern and would be the opposite rotation if you put a forward facing pitman arm on it. So there's two reasons

its a pretty popular swap on other Toyotas to mount it more forward on the frame with the rear facing pitman arm just wondering if anybodies tried it

I have never heard of anyone putting one on a 60. You should try it and tell us how it works out for you
