Well, the conclusion of this sage was addressed under a different thread: "low idle fixed". In summary, I fixed my low idle with a new throttle cable( which was stretched over the years) and a new PCV valve and hose. My idle is now 625 at lights and 700 in PARK. Since this fix the idle has yet to go below 600 RPM.

Too bad the pics disappeared.

Adding this to the list (preventative).

Same with mine. I also stripped out the screws. Does anyone know the size/length?

Is your cruiser a diesel?
How did you fix it

Hi, This is my petrol engine 3FE... Which one of these is the IAC Sensor, #1 or #2? If IAC Sensor is #1, any tips on how to check or clean #2 or the other way around? Thanks in advance!

Thank you! Any tips about servicing #1? Also, what's it called? :)
Throttle position sensor is the big one on the side of the throttle body. My rig was having intermittent idle issues. If you don’t have a TPS issue no reason just replacing random parts. But I did both to rule out any further issues down the line.

Cool... Thank you so much!
