I don't know the wheel weight. I'll weigh one when I buy a 5th for my spare. I've been impressed with the tread wear and have had zero issues in very wet conditions. Tread life is not something I usually pay attention to coming from Michelin super sports that lasted around 10k miles on my last vehicle, but it has been standing out to me that these things are showing no wear. If you get a high res image of them you'll notice a very small (<1mm) step on the tread surface. That is still fully intact on all but the right front tire, and the right front is only wearing fast because I have to do a lot of u-turns in my stupid town because of poor divider planning. I personally like the rebounds MUCH more than the methods, so I think you'll like that change. I removed the front mud flaps because they rubbed badly. Now it only rubs a little in reverse. Honestly just haven't taken the time to do more clearance work. Newborn in the house again, lol. Same thing happened when I first joined here.

Good to know, thank you. I just ordered a black rebound Icon and debating whether to go with a 285/75/17 or the 285/70. I have already trimmed everything to fit my current 34.5x12.50 tires except relocating the kdss which I don’t want to mess with and my tire is just smashing it when turned to the right all the way

Yes, 27.8 was what I had in my notes when I was weighing all my options. Not sure what my source was though.

No, but I don't know what I hit at full articulation and full turn. In normal driving I only hit plastic fender liner.

Wheels have arrived! I did weigh one and it was just over 27lbs. Can't wait to get tires and installed. I am currently looking at the Nitto Ridge Grappler and the Cooper AT3 LTX.

Want to give a shout out and thanks to MetalTech4x4 (https://www.metaltech4x4.com/); was able to get these at a "scratch and dent" price. They told me that it was a return but went back just to confirm that they were new and in unopened boxes.

I'll post some pics once complete.

The 285/75/17s are 33.8" tall and at least an inch narrower than your current tires, which you might not like when viewing your rig from the nose or tail. They're skinny compared to a 12.5" tire. The 285/70s would be a 33" tire, so better proportion with the 11'ish inch width, but not as impressive from a profile view. Not sure how much aesthetics matter to you. I'd kill to just run Toyo Open Country MT's in 35x12.5, for performance and looks, but I don't want to cut that much. 34s were a nice compromise.

Would you mind posting a couple pics of yours head on and slightly off head on so i can see what they look like from nose to tail? I bought mine new from discount tire for only $170 a piece. I can’t believe these wheels are that cheap.

I'm running 287/75/17 KO2's with the slightest rub on DS KDSS. Removed the Front mudflats and pushed forward the liners with a heat gun. Zero cutting and no lift yet. I wanted to see where it would rub at stock height before installing a lift and UCA's since I can get a better Idea of where the rub will be under compression. I have noticed a slight decrease in power due to the added weight and will be upgrading gearing soon as well. Though that might lead to wanting 35's and bumpers that I absolutely don't need...

I can’t imagine you needing to re-gear as it’s not a 34”+tire. Power loss and worse mpg is expected anything above OEM.
