Completely changed the look. Love it, just need to decrome the sides (again). Went with the Ridge Grapplers in 285-70-17. I had them on my Jeep (sold it) and on my GX and have been happy with them.

BTW point of interest for the OP, Icon recently re-spec'ed at least some (if not all) of their 5x150 wheels to a 2750 pound rating. They were 2500, which I think @gaijin pointed out to me previously was technically 12# less than they should be to carry the GVWR of the vehicle at the proper tire PSI. I still don't think they'd be technically rated to carry the weight of a GVM-upgraded vehicle (+500kg over stock, or about 8500#) but they should be more than sufficient for normal vehicle builds now

The six speeds are fake beadlock... not removable either

OK. Thanks. I will probably stick with the RW I have since the rings are removable and I am pretty sure I will scratch them up. I have looked into powder coating them but they want $150 to $250 just to powder coat the rings. I think some spray paint is in their future. Plus it will make it easier to touch up the damage that will likely be incurred.

Does anyone run these wheels with Tundra arms up front? I need more rubber under my LX.

^Looks like you were playing hard. Sorry to hear.

What do you think gotcha? Pinched tire? Sharp rock?

Hmm. Tundra arms are -30mm offset or so (1.25" wider per side)? So these are another -35mm offset, so you new offset is -5mm compared to 60mm stock. There is a thread around with some of these type offsets in them.

My math could be wrong here, and I think you know more about suspension geometry than I do...

Yes, Greg’s truck is Tundra swapped with the same spec wheels, just the six speed design.

Is Greg's LX also running a Tundra drop bracket type lift? I'm concerned that the wider offset of the wheels will cause issues when stuffing a wheel into the fender.

You’re correct, it does have the bracket lift and off the top of my head I’m not positive exactly where/how it’s bumpstopped now. We fully compressed the front doing a little dune bashing and kept the tires off the fender, but ya, not quite an apples to apples situation.

Yeah, pinched tire. I was going around 50mph, the rock I hit wasn't that big or sharp looking.

I was lucky as I hit the same size rock on each side at the same time.

Must have been a nasty rock. Those KO2s are generally pretty tough.

The only 17" in the stock offset are the ROW steelies. Then RWs at 50mm (-10 from stock). Lots of people at 25mm so that could be an option.

They are great! 33" on an LX. Minor rub in front, fender massage fixed that.

@tincan45 Your rig looks great. I'm considering going with the same wheel/tire combination on my 2013 LX 570. You mentioned a "fender message". Can you tell me more about what that entailed? A pic of the area would be helpful.

Thanks! @TeCKis300 has a write-up on moving the fender forward using the existing clips. I'll see if I can find it. He may reply with the link. Other than that, just remove the mud flaps and enjoy.
