IAT sensor wire (1 Viewer)

Anyone have a way to tell me how to tap into the IAT sensor on an 80 series 4 liter straight 6 petrol 3fe motor? I wanna try that resistor gag that we all figure isn't worth the effort biut seriously..... I keep getting overtaken by bicycles & it's just gotta stop! I am looking for anyway to splice into a wire between the IAT sensor & the brain. wire colors / codes etc. my manual tells me nothing & I can't even find the sensor? I am presuming that it's in the mass airflow sensor but I am also not 100% sure. Any help would be great. Cheers Simon.
