So now that my land cruiser is dead it dawned on me to share something I did I thought was clever. I'm sure this has been done before but whatever.

In the rear I took out the third-row seatbelts and installed eye bolts, the floor became useful little tie down points. The top became convenient for hanging things when camping in the back of for easy use. Anyways I have for and if you want them, pm me.

Happy trailing.

Yep! I didn't do any in the floor, but the D pillar for sure. Great for hangng hammocks ect.

Fire extinguisher mount on the D pillar in mine.

You can see mine kind of mounted there:

I learned something new today. 20tpi is 1.25 metric thread pitch, or at least my thread pitch gauge thinks so. I ran a 1.25 pitch die over it; it was fairly loose, but it did thread.

The large bolt is a 7/16-20, grade 8 HHCS. The smaller is the upper third row seat belt anchor.

Something to watch out for, when you're rooting through your bolt bin.

Also, this seat belt anchor bolt was puller from a donor '96. The ones from my '95 have a 6-8mm long shoulder under the head, which sits proud of the anchor weldnut, so the seatbelt plate can pivot on it.

Here they are, side by side, for comparison:
