I think I fried the fog light and tail light relays

It seems like that's the case. I don't have fog, license plate lights or tail lights. But all other lights work.

I think this happened when I accidentally fired up new headlights with a new dual relay harness without the ground wire attached to the battery.
I know it's stupid, I've done it before with stereo stuff.
But anyway, Is it plausible that I fried both relays here? I only noticed when the cop told me this morning.

I'm asking because it seems a serious amount of work to get to the fog and tail light relays. Are they really behind the driver's side cowl panel?

I'm an idiot, I know.

Check your 15a fuses. One handles interior lights, tail lights, front running lights. The other fog lights. Just replace them first before you go further.

Not sure about the tail light relay, but the fog light relay is on the back side of the fuse block.

so as it turns out, even if bulbs look good, they could secretly ruin your day. (or five) I replaced all six in the outboard tail light housings, and the two amber front blinker lights this morning as a last ditch effort before taking even more things apart on the car, and everything worked like a champ.
I'll never do that again.
