And so it starts...

18 hour round trip complete. She's home. She got 20.8 mpg (computed actual) on her first fill up. I was very surprised.

Other than white (the BEST color), I really like how that Magnetic Grey Metallic looks. Congrats!

Okay, I'm a little miffed. Just found out my cool little DRL LED strip is disabled because I only paid $74,000 for an LC instead of $90k for an LX.

Congrats. You'll never look back. I recently picked up my 2011 and made the mistake of letting my wife drive it. We are coming from a tundra 5.7 and she hated driving it. We drove the tacomas, 4runners, LX570 and finally the cruiser. She fought me the whole way on the purchase. She used it 1 week to commute and won't give it back. She told me yesterday that's it the best vehicle we have ever purchased and she absolutely has fallen in love with it. Since her commute is only 4 miles and mine is 15 each way, I'm stuck driving her Lexus.:frown:

Congrats sir! Best color in my opinion.

Don't worry. A new set of K02s will fix that fuel economy for you :frown:

An update...

Well, it took almost two months, but I finally got the beast registered. CA DMV, AZ DMV, and Toyota Finance all said they needed something from the other, but none of them would send the request and none of them would give me anything to give to the other. The dealer was finally able to get what I needed so she's now fully road legal. I'll never buy from an out of state dealer again.

Now that she's official I'm finally bonding with her. Even though she's awesome, having that hanging over my head was really affecting the joy of ownership.

Awesome you had a dealer willing to help. Two months is lightning speed when dealing with DMV, two states no less. Enjoy the cruiser and those cooler seats....super jealous of that feature these past couple weeks!

I didn't think too much about the ventilated seats until the first 110+ degree day. As soon as I cranked the LC I felt a nice chill on my sweaty legs and back. That coupled with a cool box full of water has me set for the long AZ summer.
