I MAY have found a stash of NOS '25 bibs!

How can I tell the difference between a '25 bib and an old Nissan Patrol bib? I found a Nissan place that's selling off NOS Toyota parts and they had a stack of 4 or 5 bibs. I looked and they are not '40 series since they have the horizontal bars. I figure either for the '25 or older Patrol but how do I tell?

The 25 bib is exactly the same dimensions and shape as the 40 bib, other than the provisions for the horizontal bars and no bezel.

They might even have NOS '25 bibs there. I'm just not sure how to tell if it's for a '25 or an older Patrol. It's definitely NOT a '40 series.

Looks like a 40 series bib, but has no threaded holes for the headlamp bezel...Has the relieves for the horizontal grill trim pieces.

Based on the pictures here https://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/266506-new-oem-old-stock-parts.html the parts I saw most closely resemble the FJ25 bib. Is there any other models out there that might share that style?

If you want one, there are several, PM me and let me know. I'll be going back there on Wednesday and they are talking about clearing out whatever they have ASAP. If you want one I will be requiring some form of down payment before buying one for you. Too many 'mudders want one until the cash is required and if I have a down payment then you can't back out as easily.

Bib only with the horizontal bars and wire mesh screen. No headlight surrounds or mounts included. I'll look to see if I see any of those though. What would be a reasonable price? $100?? $200??

What is an fst? Factory service tool?? Here in Guatemala all you need is a cold chisel and a 5 lb hammer!!

I did see a '40 (at least I think it was a '40) with a soft top behind a fence a year or two ago. Probably OEM. It was about 3-4 hours away though.

How do I tell what the soft top parts look like? I'm imagining "tent poles"?!?

If you '25 owners have specific requests post up part numbers and I'll see what they have. I can't ask if they have a certain widget but I can see the part numbers. This is a parts place that used to deal with Toyota and Nissan and is now exclusively Nissan. They do NOT know what they have. I need to look through it all so part numbers are ESSENTIAL. I'm returning on Wednesday morning so any requests need to be made by Tuesday evening. Don't request something if you are not going to follow through with payment. I don't need '25 parts and I'm not a warehouse!

Do you have a price limit on any of this or is it whatever it cost is fine? I don't know how unobtainable any of this stuff is. I really doubt any of it will be stupid expensive, ie: I expect that it would be equal or less than the cost of the quivalent part for a '40 from Toyota, most likely less. Do you want all there are or just one? What if there is a dozen of one of these? Do you want them all?

Hubcaps will be for my FJ45LV if I find any. I did find a few a couple of years ago in the area of town where all used parts places are.

Need part numbers!! Are you serious on the Patrol brake cylinders? The place IS a Nissan parts place so it is possible.

Whatever they can find for a list price...........since none of it's in the system whatever the price was in say 1963???

Seriously, all of the above is such unobtainium that any reasonable price for a comparable modern piece would be OK. And yes, if you come up with any of the above I (we) will buy it. Crazy expensive prices are not OK as there are examples to repro for most.

Part numbers on Phil's stuff coming, and I would say he's serious on the Patrol parts.
