I know - 1st world problem but still...

The key seems to be entering an address at some distance away, and then actually being on a road on that route with enough miles BEFORE the next turn that the system shows multiple digits so the decimal is obvious. The dealer tech set a destination 40 miles away, but because the next turn was only 5 miles away, they weren't able to see the issue.

The screen shots definitely help. It took a while just to get them to understand that the issue is the discrepancy between the two screens.

This is exactly what I had to do to replicate your problem. Had to get on one of the long streets in Raleigh which was a pain as most of them were below 10 miles long

Spent 7 hours at the dealer today (reminded me why bought Lexuses before with free loaner cars). They have spent a lot time of going back and forward with Toyota HQ and testing another Land Cruiser on the lot. They have replicated the issue with Nav vs. MID - no fix of course and case has been opened with Toyota. Main Nav space after decimal when looking at the next turn distance is normal and what is in manual. I call it BS but I can deal with it. Headset for right AV needs to be redesign to A/B channel version. Toyota doesn't do those anymore. Confirmed as an issue and opened a case with Toyota. So a fun day. Time to watch for TSBs

Bringing the thread back to life. Did anyone with 16 got the nav/mid cluster next turn distance issue resolved? I have a case opened with Toyota since March and no fix from my dealer.

My wife is a software engineer and it looks like one of her problems she see's on a daily basis. Toyota needs to get there software programmer's to fix the code and send out a patch. PS. my wife does not work for Toyota but she has me test some of her software as a dumb user when she is wrapping up a project.

UPDATE for 16 LC owners: I have escalated the issue to Corporate and a case manager was assigned. Today my LC was dropped off to be worked on by an engineer from Toyota. Based on conversation with Service Manager he has been told that a software patch will be tried (hopefully cluster will not need to be touched/replaced). If successful a TSB will be issued shortly after and patch deployed to dealerships. Will report back again when I have the truck back in my possession.
