Picked up my new van on the 18th of May. Got back a few days ago.

It’s able to travel highway speeds, it has quick get up and go, limited slip differential, 3,0 turbo diesel, back up camera (never had a vehicle with one of those), full-time 4 wheel drive, 2" lift, bilstein shocks, camper build, but no low range so essentially a big boxy Subaru.

It carries 2 five gallon jugs of water with submersible pump to feed faucet for sink, no hot water heater you do it the old fashioned way, 7 gallon gray water tank, nice energy efficient fridge, diesel parking heater, isolated auxiliary battery system, nice bed, drawers, cupboards. No kitchen, 2 drawers with butcher block tops roll out from under bed for campstove cooking under the open hatch. Took the old awning off which is pretty light duty, and transferring Rhino Rack awning from TownAce to Vantwo. Snorkel has 2” clearance from top to bottom of ceiling

Very cool, Stephen! Is it JDM or what’s the country of origin? Will you sell the other one, or maybe you worked out a trade-in deal? It will be nice to be able to drive at normal highway speeds!

Yes, also JDM purchased from the same importer/dealer. I am keeping the other van because they serve two different functions. Yeah, it’s a great ride, I fit in with the other traffic!

I took the aluminum clad awning off of Vantwo, and Virgil did the work to adapt the brackets and we replaced it with the Rhino-Rack awning off of Firstvan!
