hey...nice Panic sticker!
Crucial 'Cruiser modification!

what the hell happened there? was the problem in your immatation leather shoes? did she vaporlock?

thanks man! getting stuck was a result of not locking the front hubs before she went under, i didnt think it was deep lol, and i didnt want to risk trying it under water, and yes i need new tires lol

Always lock and engage before starting...learned that lesson a LONG time ago. Better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it. especially in Mud. And not to harp but those tires weren't gonna do you any good in that terrain either. Oh well, not a life ender!:cheers:

hahah yes sir, ive learned mine!! i for got i dis engaged them before i hit it lol durrrrr, and yea my cars safe so all in all a good day, im looking to get new tires, what do you guys use??

X2 on the tires.

I think that thing needs an ih8mud sticker on it while we're at it :grinpimp:

Mud sucks. Stay out of it. It's like snow, only not as clean.

For mud you need a sacrificial older Chevy 4wd pick up with a big block and preferably no muffler. Everything else is no good. Land Cruisers because they are heavy and have no real power are not good in mud or snow.

You're in Georgia, you should know that.:flipoff2:

Nice. Glad you got out. Could never imagine putting my 60 in mud or water like that. She's my baby.

The Hundy however gets thrown into everything.

You forgot boggers and nitrous.

Heh. I almost said that, but I was trying to be nice. I'm turning over a new leaf, we'll see how long it lasts.

I have MTR's which are marginal to fair in Mud but I'm more of a Rocks and Mountains type.

Swampers are good for mud...

Triple locked 80 with MTRs did fine in Arizona mud, but Arizona mud isn't as bad as Georgia mud. You ask about getting BFG Mud Terrains in Georgia, and they say "Them are street tires."

I had Super Swamper LTB bias ply 34x10.5's on my FJ55...they were great offroad tires, very soft and grippy but were also great in mud...and they are inexpensive! Only problems were flat spots on cold mornings and little quarter-sized divot craters came out of the tread in a couple places for no obvious reason. but well worth the money

yea haha well im not a "rebel boy" no that kind of georgia mud, i was just messing around out side of a race track and we went on a mini expedition!! thanks for being nice guys, and for all the feedback/info!! i heard super swampers were good and great offroad, but i think id be on the road to much!

alright thanks! ill probably end up with them soon, any suggestion on some cheaper rims, preferably black? or i could spray, just to put the MTR's or some BFGs? i love my stock rims, and the tires are fairly new all around, so i dont want to waste them, id rather just have a spare set! any ideas?

heres some shots of it cleaned!!!

trade your touring tires to someone in a s***vy, QUICK!
Before you get stuck again...

I really liked the Yokohama Geolandar MT/S that I had on my FJ40 before I pimped it over to someone else so I could pay off my 60. They are like $150 each or something, not bad. I was wanting to get Black rims for my 60 as well, but the chromos are starting to grow on me now...blacks are like $50 each.

sweet haha yea tires need to go, im working right now, and play time will be at the end of this month!!!! along with the dirtbikes!!, i do lovvvve the chrome but i think on a while cruiser with some darker bits and pieces along with the black rims would look awesome!
