You've probably turned some potential buyers off with your auction style attempt to sell this. This isn't ebay, post a price and run the course.

You scabbed off of 'Mud for pricing on your work bid and now you're running an auction with no verification for the potential buyers.

Your actions remind me of those guys that make a deal, then sell the item in question for a higher price to another guy.

Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Did you go back and edit your post? I don't remember reading all of this before.

I'm not the guy you're thinking of. I know those guys from my roofing experience. I do all the work of bidding a roof and calling the customer a couple times and talking about every minute detail of the project and then some guy comes in and works off of my bid for a couple hundred bucks less and does a crappy job to boot.

What type of verification are you talking about? I just figured one of the two guys bidding on this will agree on a price with me and come get the truck in person. I've tried my best to represent the truck as accurately as I can.

Nevada, play or go away! He didnt do anything wrong

Really? Have you read the classified rules? Directly cut from Woody's sticky on clasiffied threads.

"POST A PRICE...if you want people to bid on it, post it on EBay and link it here...."

You might want to check your facts before you tell someone to go away. ;)

No, my post was not edited in any way. If so, you would see an end note that the post was edited.

I don't have a heart ache with you seeking a value on the rig in question. I also think you have done a great job with the photo's documenting the overall condition of the rig.

My complaint was clearly stated, this isn't an auction site. Post a price (As you have now done) or post a link to an auction site. Starting a bidding war that is a "He said, she said" is b.s.

Hey Ryan,

Good on you for recognizing an old classic and then coming to the biggest gang of enthusiasts to offer it up.

I think you should have held off a bit though before offering it for sale. It kind of looks as though you are just stringing these guys along. And now you jack the price up to $6k, so you're not coming across as sincere.

I understand your want to get the best possible price for the truck, and maybe the best place to do that is e-bay. But don't expect to get $6k. The truck needs a LOT of work.I wouldn't expect more than $4k at best and maybe the $3300 offered is about right.

Anyway, good luck with the sale and congats on having a kid coming.

Price is now posted stick to it and you might be surprised. Someone will offer you cash and the truck will live on. And im sure a rebuild thread will be presented on this site in this section. Besides you fronted the $ for the roof and times are tough.
