Just finished the roof today. It took a couple weeks and we ended up doing a lot more work than we thought we would. We replaced a couple of skylights at cost too. So hopefully I can make a little money on this truck and someone bring it back to life.
I've got an offer from someone here for $3000. So let me know if you've got a better offer.

Truck is now in my driveway! Let me know if you guys want pictures of anything specific. I'm going to take a bunch tomorrow in the daylight with a real camera.
I also have a folder with a ton of paperwork concerning the truck's maintenance history.
This is the manliest truck ever. I'm bummed I can't at least drive it around a little bit before I sell it. I sat in it with my giant white dog (great pyrenees) for a few minutes and pretended to drive it. It was awesome.

You've probably turned some potential buyers off with your auction style attempt to sell this. This isn't ebay, post a price and run the course.
You scabbed off of 'Mud for pricing on your work bid and now you're running an auction with no verification for the potential buyers.
Your actions remind me of those guys that make a deal, then sell the item in question for a higher price to another guy.

i apologize if i offended anyone. i never intended to come into your forum and upset anyone or dump all over your site etiquette.
this is the only place i've offered the truck for sale. i'd rather not go through ebay, but i don't want to "scab" off of your website either. i looked around on here for a way to donate by paypal but couldn't find anything. please show me where and i'll be happy to.
i figured this would be the place where someone would most appreciate this truck and perhaps i could get some photos of the restored truck to the guy i bought it from because he was so emotionally attached to it.
as far as your classified listing rules, i thought i was within the guide lines but i'll try to clarify things a little bit.
i'm located in davenport, iowa.
asking $6000.
i have a clean title. there's a lot of rust. it's not running. it's not rolling. i have a lot of maintenance records spanning over 30 years. i don't know much of anything about these so if there's something you want to know please ask and i'll try to figure it out for you or take pictures. i'm not looking to rip off any poor souls - just trying to get what this rare truck is worth. i've got a baby due in a month and i'm broke.
