I found an awesome deal on a great tub... obviously, there’s a catch.

Decided to replace the top rail/channel/support bar thing that the top of the quarter panel punches over onto. I straightened the existing one out as well as I could with no real equipment to use and it’s good, bit not dead on straight like the other side and would be noticeable. Heading back to the guy I got the tub from tomorrow morning and I might be welding tomorrow afternoon

Today was a pretty huge progress day. Yanked that bar from a different FJ at the guys place where I grabbed the tub. Things went pretty quick, so I just went with it and kept on rolling. Still have a few things to finish up and test fit the sides - but things are coming right along. Next big step after this top bar is finished is to work the sides again and then start prepping for a skim coat of filler.
