I found an alarm module under my PS-Seat ??

How many alarm systems does a LC need ??? Mine decided to have two now. I found a box under my PS-seat that turned out to be an alarm module. Unfortunately I don't have the remote controls for it and there is no serial number on the box. The dealer where I bought the truck told me that this LC has no alarm or remote control. So I installed an aftermarket system. Now I have two alarm system working in my car.

I don't know if one will affect the other or maybe the old one is shut down. Who knows. It is not an TVSS because it has no outside buttons. It is just a box with an opening for the glass breaking sensor but no buttons or switches to regulate or control anything. The wires are still connected and disappear under my carpet.

Is there anybody here who can guess what kind of system it is? Someone who can help me to identify it so that I can order new remote control keys and activate it again.

In another issue I was always wondering what kind of cupholder you guys have in the back. Because I don't have one. So today I saw a picture of this special cupholder and where you have this cupholder I have a box that holds CD's and so no cupholder. I didn't know that there was an option of a CD-box. Life is a period of learning

I know and I am not complaining about it. I just want to use it when it is already connected in the truck. Maybe I can find out what kind of system it is.

Oh BTW, please that nobody remarks that I have not cleaned my carpets under the seat, otherwise I would have found the module much earlier. I have somebody for cleaning my car and so I actually never look under the seats.

Check the alarm manuals on my web site and see if you have the RS3000. That's the one that we got here in the US from 95 to 97.
