After constant nudging/badgering from Darren (@White Sheep ) and procrastination, I took finally my 14 yr old out to Uwharrie this weekend.

First I want to say that it was a blast out there and the truck did great and made up for all my lack of skills. Admittedly I did almost everything wrong from going out at the spur of the moment alone, not airing down, no planning on what trails to take, no map, no training, etc.

Thankfully we got through ok did a few trails at Badin Lake.

Started out at 6:30am

..and after some lunch on the tailgate we headed back home by way of the Pisgah covered bridge and Alpaca Farm

don't wait so long to the next trip. just stay off the trails that start witrh the letter "D" if your by yourself.

Yes, that's fine, nice trail.
Just rember to stop at the top of the big hill climb. You will know when you get there.
