I am in the same boat Nick. Only I got a Sequoia to try to help put a band-aid on the gaping wound of not having the 100 around anymore. It's a decent band-aid, but the only cure is to actually get back into a hundy. Leaning towards a decent mall cruiser/soccer mom stock version to build up myself. Maybe we can make it back to HiH next year!

That's what I bought a few months ago. My oldest son saw it and said "soccer mom" lol Here it is next to my 2001 7.3 PowerStroke Excursion. Scheduled for an OME 1.5" lift and removing the running boards in June! With two sons in college it will take a while to build out.

I'm getting back into the game by the end of the year. I really want another 100, however the 200 Series are looking damn good :)

I have some thinking to do. Anybody know of any clean 100's for sale? I would like to start gathering my list of options.

Clean 100s are getting harder and harder to find these days (in the south anyway)

I realized that after I sold mine, Andy. That is why I am considering 200's, they seem to be still one owner cars and maintained so that gives me a little more piece of mind

This bad boy showed up last night! I'm out town and my wife had to take delivery. I get to see it tomorrow night when I get home!

Hows the reliability on the 200? I haven't really looked into the 200's

Much shorter history but similar to the 06-07 100 i think. Some of the fancy / computer parts have had issues, but mechanically 100%.

We have put 40k miles on ours (now has 70k total) and have had zero issues. It's a great rig.

Good to know. I would expect some issues with any car. As long as the mechanical stuff is solid I'd be fine. There's a few sub-$40K with ~80-90K on them that I'd be willing to build up. I can't figure out if I want silver or black.

Nick, I'm searching for one to buy immediately for the upcoming HIH and because both my DD and farm truck need work. I can't find any LCs, and am just looking at a few LXs. I drove one in Mobile, AL on Monday and am looking at another in ATL this weekend. They are out there though. I find Used Cars, New Cars, Reviews, Photos and Opinions to be the really helpful.

I'm actually shopping for a 200 for my dad as well. With similar mileage, they are consistently $10k higher over the 06-07 100s.

Are you coming to Atlanta? Maybe after 6 years of chatting we can finally get lunch haha

I may depending on the one from Monday I drove. I'm on the road in South MS and may go back through Mobile on the way back to Birmingham and test drive the LX again. I had it looked at and it checked out but they were offering an insulting trade in for my dd car. While not lunch, I did grab a beer with you and your brother at the Ouray brewery at HIH3. I'll hit you up if I head East this weekend

GSMTR is coming up , I have an extra seat if you want to ride along.

I was 'considering' buying another 100, bringing my total to 2 LC's, but ive come to the conclusion I need to suck it up and hold dollars until a 200 that fits my needs rolls around. Point being, I think it's safer(for me anyway) to set aside a fixed sum of dollars and then buy the most LC I can buy, regardless of year. Keeps me from killing a budget but also gives me the ROI of a the LC after I've begun to use it.

Yes, clean 100 are disappearing daily. But new 200's are taking their place. It is nice to see the soccer moms sporting Land Cruisers around the neighborhood. I just love hearing them say air-headed things like, "all I know is it''s a Toyota," or "My husband bought it," It will be interesting to watch users from the 100 side slowly move to the 200 side.

Just wait for those first time owners to slip up and put it on the market....

Funny how that's our perspective. The other side would be saying "Oh my god! I can't believe we got so much back from that old Toyota!"

May I wheel your 100?
