FJ40

That's Nice. Love to hear stories about strange finds. We are Still talking about 40's right ???

Sure the topic is FJ40's. The tire pressure discussion was enlightening. Mark used algebra, I think, to determine the proper tire pressure to achieve maximum wear and mileage when using 33/9.50/15 tires on a FJ4?. I believe it was 22 psi. Great conversation while having a cool one in the garage around the FJ40 project. He is not only the foremost authority on Land Cruiser carburetors he may well be the tire pressure authority as well.

More Progress Today

The clutch slave cylinder gave out today. I was in the middle of town and aways away from home. It had been a while since I had driven by syncro. It was fun I had to start in gear a few times but I made it to O'Riley auto parts and they had a slave and a master so I bought and change both. The total came to $112 with lifetime warranty. Now I am going to purchase the rebuild kits repair and keep the others on standby.

Sound Bar

I am thinking of installing a Sound Bar. Have any of you used one of these? Good, Bad?

I got the Sound Bar mounted. It went in pretty easy. I had to adjust the mounting hardware to fit the Toyota roll bar. I don't have the speakers installed in the pictures. My advice would be to install the speakers in the Sound Bar before you finish the Sound Bar install. It fits under the bimini pretty well. I will upload the pictures of the finished project next post.
