as i said earlier on another thread, Toyota has had the parts to make 4 door pickups since 1990. i had all the part numbers years ago but when the computator crashed i lost it all.

it is a 77/78 forward section with different roof and back panel.

Curious if the "wide nose" dual cabs have been put on the 79 series chassis to gain enough length for 2 doors then a tray
What chassis is the red dual cab on as the 75 chassis is a bit shorter than the 79 chassis I couldn't see the dual cab fitting with out a chassis extension from .

We've been seeing quite a few ex-fire trucks in Mongolia, mostly Nissan Patrols /Safaries/, LC70 series, maybe some Mitsubishi Canters . Japs must have been selling their older fleet. Many of them are really low mileage /less than 20K/ and in nice shape. Interiors are standard with vinyl door panels, seats and floor. I think people who bring them in are doing the mods like canvas, bed, winch etc. Considering local import tax, mileage and condition, they are not that expensive imop. Not selling quick though.

......... " Not selling quick though. " ...........

That is the way it works .....
The folks that can get them have no interest while those who can have them would love to own one. Life ain't fair..... :)

the 3 ex fire trucks i bought were 9500 km or less in very nice shape ...
but
once you get the firebox removed then the expense begins.
