18 mpg

18 mpg that is pretty good mileage for a car but pretty awsome for Land Cruiser. I got 12 mpg pretty much all the time. 31 in tires 2 lift.

If finally got mine running right recently, passed smog, and put one tank through it. I got 13 mpg babying it around the city on stock bald tires. No hwy numbers yet till I replace the baldies. Looking for 31's soon.

Average 17 mpg, but check my math

85 FJ60, stock smogged 2F, stock diff's, H42, no lift, 31x10.50s, K&N filter

If stock tires are 28 inches tall, and mine are 31, then this should be right. The circumference of my tires are 11% greater than stock, so I multiply the miles I got on the tank by 1.11. Then divide by the number of gallons needed to fill it up to automatic shutoff.

And I am averaging about 17 mpg, with mostly highway miles, but some of them slow and curvy. I take it real easy and try to never rev over 2500 rpm.
