Howdy from dallas!

i picked up a LX470 from OKC this past weekend. I have been a subaru guy for a long time - but the quantity of kiddos around the house made a 5 seat SUV a little too small for the growing clan. There was no question what i was getting - I knew it would be a 100 series!

Being in dallas, the LX to Land Cruiser ratio is 10:1 so I blend right in. Well, not sure blending in is the right word! The guy I bought it from had done excellent work on the truck - top notch treatment at Slee including ACH delete, OME Lify, TJM bumper and winch, light bar, Viper GPS and Bluetooth, hitch, Outback drawers (that are sadly for sale as I need the third row!) Frontrunner rack - really a top notch build.

This isn't just a family hauler, we do an annual Moab trip for MTB, but looking forward to seeing other parts of the area in the truck! We are big campers - and making the kiddos learn at a very young age that the best places are off the beaten path.

I will also likely be towing our team's 24 Hour of Lemons car with this - so happy to have a V8 so I can actually pull a trailer!

Not new to forums, but new to this forum. Already wearing out the search function - you guys have a great resource here. Almost every question i have already has a detailed thread on the topic.

I have 136k on the clock right now....and should have many more to come. Looks like Park Place lexus will be taking care of her every 30k miles, i'll do the Mobil 1 changes every 5k otherwise.

Thanks for the great resource and looking forward to taking part in the community!

Nice rig and welcome! I have a feeling you will fit right in here;)

Very nice!! I'm partial to the LX!!

Very clean ride. I will be on the lookout for you here in Dallas. Just sent you a PM on the drawers

Nice truck.

What are you running in the 24 Hour of Lemons?

I have run a Saab 900 and Toyota Supra in the past....done about a dozen races in those. New car this time around (buddy's car) - will be racing an intrega. We typically hit the Houston races, will hit up eagle canyon races from time to time.
