Id like to watch the video in the dash screen whilst driving in my crusier. i understand the purpose and know the consequences. Is there a way to bypass the electrical mechanism on the vehicle that prohibits the screen from playing while in D with PB off. I knw some other vehicles have bypasses that allow for this function.

Thanks in advance

Please be careful doing so, with this bring said the prestige society box does this for you.
Pretty much plug and play once you take your dash apart to install.
It's also a little pricey, but work nicely.

You bet! This also allows to enter destination info while in motion. Good for having your passenger enter info.
You can dial out of the screen as well.

I installed the prestige in mine and it allows video in motion, but more importantly it allows you to use the Nav in motion, even a passenger. Installation was simple plug and play.

Great I think I'll order one tomorrow. Next I'll research how to install. I'm New to Mud but man there are some great guys on here. Few peckerheads but that's life. Archtaan CTapia thanks for the info.

I installed one on mine simple plug and play and it works great. Instructions from them are fantastic... Go to harbor freight and buy some auto trim removal tool kits

Also buy some painter blue masking tape to protect the surrounding pieces from scratches. Easy install overall, be careful when removing the wiring harness (one of them is little tricky). It comes with instructions and there are also some write-up here on forum.

I installed the Prestige unit last weekend and it took a little less than an hour to do in a 2013. For their installation instructions I'd give a 8/10. They missed a couple of bolts you have to take out (but you'll quickly find them by following their instructions) and they could have easily re-worded a few things slightly to make it make a lot more sense but you really don't need anything other than them to get it done. And they definitely do error on the safe side as far as making sure you do things that don't damage your interior parts.
