How to verify a saginaw pump (1 Viewer)

I got what I think is a saginaw pump from what I'm told was from a late 70's Impala, how to I tell if its a good one for a conversion??

What are the good year vehicles to get them from?
 
Do you mean pump or stearing box? Pumps aren't 4 turn
Just boxes....Turn the input shaft and count revolutions from lock to lock (all the way right to left or left to right) to tell how many turns you have.
 
sorry I meant pump, (that accompanied a 4 turn box)

I dont think the pumps are anything special. Yours looks right. Usally it is the stearing box that is harder to find

If you are running SBC the dual pulley is a nice feature. My dual doesn't squeel like the singles. I don't know about dual belt on Fs.
