Are Moog u-joints recommended over Toyota? I've got some nasty vibrations followed by squeaking/whining when in reverse. Greasing the u-joints a two months ago helped but it is pretty obvious they need to be replaced.
I imagine on a stock height 80 the OEM would outlast Moog by a lot. However on a lifted vehicle, even with regular maintenance u-joints wear fast so I went for strength.
Do the MOOG's have grease fittings?
The Moog super joints I bought have grease fittings on one of the four caps. Off road the cap style fittings like to snag things and break off with the threads still in the cap. So I swap the fitting with a flat plug (usually in stock at Napa). I keep the zerk in with my grease gun or Offroad tool kit, so it's around when I need to grease my u-joints.
