Thanks for all the replies...I used a slide hammer and they came out pretty easy. But now, how do I install the new ones? I don't want to pound them in, or is that they way. Or are the pressed in with a press. Thanks all for help.

I put mine in the freezer for 24 hours, then lubed them and pounded in using the old race and a hammer. I found it difficult to get it started straight. That took some doing...but once they started to go in, it was pretty simple.
 
just finished doing mine and this time round i was able to get the proper bearing puller and impacter from a local loan a tool program so it was free. it made the job soooo much easier. all other ways are possible (and some times necessary....see first response to this thread) but if you can get the right tool you won't regret it.
