I have a 1982 Fj-60 and was wondering what types of oils and/or additives y'all use to keep your engines purring. I just pressure tested my cruiser last night and it ranged from 135-150psi and I want to get things a little more even. I'm going to adjust on the valves tonight, but thought I'd ask how you keep yours even across all six.
Thanks
TK

Best info I've found on here about oil is in the 80's forum. Search for "cary" he's the oil guru there. Also check out Bob's the oil guy website. Make sure to give yourself lots of time for reading...

Lowfat diet, plenty of vegtables, and workout at least 3 times a week. :)

The only thing I've experience that "sort of" works to even compression out is a product called "engine restore". I wouldnt call it a mystery cure but it does seem to help slightly.
