How to hold down driver side floor mats? (1 Viewer)

This is probably a dumb question, but how are the driver side floor mats supposed to be held down/in place?

I have the original set for my 2001 LC and there is a hole in the mat and a matching hole on the carpeted floor that align. It seems like there should be some peg or hook?

I searched for parts and something came up for Lexus cars, but didn’t look right for a truck.

Any pics of what the part looks like or the name of it would be helpful.

Just stop by the Toyota dealer. They should have them in stock.

Toyota also did recalls to install these on vehicles after their "sudden acceleration" incidents with Lexus and Toyotas, so it's very likely you can get them for free. They were handing them out like candy a couple of years ago.
