Does anyone know of any readily available fender protection bars that would be compatible with the ARB Combo Front Bumper and Slee tube sliders?

I was looking at something like I saw on the Proffitts 2006 LC:

2006 UZJ100 Expedition Vehicle

I figure this could add some valuable protection in tight places...

I'd love to have something that would just bolt on. Any reasons not to do it?

Thanks.

I definitely want some! But, have yet to find anything readily available. Probably will have to find some one to fab some up for you.

Edit: A thought just came to me. Maybe contact Proffits???

ARB makes those side bars, you'd just have to find a way to integrate them into the sliders. There's not much too them and remember, these all came from OZ where the purpose is pushing cattle, not sliding against rocks and trees.

If you look at the ARB version, it is designed to integrate into the ARB step rails. I would think one would spend more time and money trying to retrofit them to work with Slee sliders. And if the flex any where near the way the ARB steps do then no way I would put them on my truck. We would be way better off just having some custom fab shop make a heavier duty version.

Edit: Oh, and I am not looking to rock crawl with them. I am not building my truck for that.

Those just look like a damage multiplier to me. Might be good for brush but they look like they'd hit the fender if you leaned on them. They seem to be using them primarily for the brush risers.

As for where to get them it says "Proffitt's Cruisers fender protection / sliders" in the build notes.

I would agree, damage multiplier in the application that most would use in the states. As trunk pointed out, they are for pushing cattle, not armor to protect against trees and rocks. I'll pass.

Plus, if you live in/go to Brooklyn, you'll have people lock their bikes to your truck

We call them stick collectors, they allow you to be able to climb out the window, and pull out the stick, that stopped you opening the door.

+1, I don't see any functional value to that. And get a dog to push cattle.

LOL. Ok, I haven't been on here in a while and this is what I come across. Damn funny.

Those are my bars I ordered directly from TJM before they left town. I gave them to my buddy Carl who has the TJM bull bar. I ended up getting Slee Sliders, so I never put them on.

By the way, that's my bike too. I just happened to be riding that night and we met outside the pub.

I had them on my 80, not ARB ones, just ones I had bent up out of stronger pipe. They are handy to walk on if you're stuck in mud or water.

that is what your navigator is for...he gets out and wades the mud and water and hooks you up as you have to maintain control of your rig? Dont you watch King of the Hammers or TOP TRUCK CHALLENGE....LOL:hillbilly::flipoff2:

LOL mac I knew it was your bike...I hoped if I posted the picture you or Carl would post up. I win.
