How to best shift a 25?

I find that the non-synco requires that I double clutch third and forth gear or I grind bad ... most of the time I start in second

Is that what you'll do?
 
Something is wrong of your having to double clutch third and fourth gears. For normal driving these are just like the three speeds. Like Mike said check to make sure your clutch is disengaging all the way. If it is you may be looking at wore synchronizers.
 
My clutch seems to let out at the very end of the travel ... maybe I need to make some adjustments
 
Not sure if the other guys mentioned, these are by no means modern synchros, they are easily defeated if you shift to quickly. They should allow a slow upshift and a 4-3 downshift if you're not in a rush.
 
I start in second and double clutch (no grinding with mine) but it is as much habit from driving vehicles that think gear changes are something that happen before your wife go out for dinner.

That is pretty much what I have been doing ... starting in second (however first works fine as well) ... and then double clutching the rest and it shift fine. I do not need to double clutch if a take my sweet old time shifting.
