I have searched, but not really what I need. Need insulation under the rig not inside on the floor board.
I am tired of my foot / shoe almost melting especially since summer is coming and it is down right uncomfortable and stinky to wear sandals and try to keep my foot from touching the tranny hump. I need to insulate but I do not want to put it on the inside and have to cover it with carpet. Too easy for our rigs to hold moisture and rust with carpet.
So I need to figure out how and what type of reflective insulation to use that will stick to the bottom of the body under the front floor-boards. I have no idea if the insulation has an adhesive that will hold it in place or riveted in place.
What type and brand has been used in the past that has been successful. It looks like a PITA to get the insulation between the body and drive train so I want something that will stay and only do it once.
I will also wrap my headers and exhaust. What is the best way to do this with everything still in the rig? Pictures of how to do it would be great.
