I want 2.5" coilovers/rear shocks but I'm not sure if I will run hard enough to make remote reservoirs worth the investment...anybody have a ballpark for how much sustained high speed stuff makes it worthwhile?

FWIW when I spoke with Mike @ Radflo, he stated the GX is really borderline on the 2" vs 2.5" shocks for general use. If you can drop the coin, seems 2.5" is the way to go anyway as they provide more tuning and run cooler. You can do 2.5" w/o remote reservoirs. Might not hurt to call some of the suspension manufacturers and see what they suggest?

Last weekend went wheeling with my FJ buddy, he has 2.5 icon coilovers up front (non resi) and icon 2.0 shocks/coils in back. I have 2.5 icon front and rear with full resis all around. The difference between driving the two rigs was definitely there driving through some loose fast wash stuff as well as a few rock gardens. I think its worth the money if you can afford em.
Noob. Do reservoirs make them feel damper over washboard? Every truck/suv/car I've ever had was absolute sh*t over that stuff, but a buddy's lifted 80 series was butter. No idea if he has reservoirs or not but...
Remote res shocks dont just add endurance, they allow for more absorption due to the larger volume and displacement. If you hit the washboards, bigger whoopsies, etc they will be a benefit.
