How much lube goes in the U-joints (1 Viewer)

I'm not sure if I've over lubed my u-joints. When I pumped a couple of squirts in the spiders, I started hearing a hissing and some small spots of grease coming out of the rubber deals on the ends of the spider. Am I braking a seal of some sort?

Also, how much should I be pumping in to the driveshaft fittings. I pumped several squirts until the driveshaft started pulsating back and forth with each pump, then decided I better put the grease gun away for a little while.

On u-joints, pump them until all the pops and hisses are gone, you can't overfill them. The drive shafts are a different animal. Pump grease until you see them start to spread and then stop.
