There is where you gotta play fine .. I never do that fine, I stop playing in the line when I start loosing HP .. and even so .. I wasn't ready to run 5 gals of W/M in the back to keep enough fluid always ..

Don't get me wrong .. I know it's an perfect doable option if you can play your timing as you wish . .

Sorry I'm a little late to recheck this here thread but to answer the question, no, nothing altered at all with the timing.

AFR's with stock MAF are about 10.8 to 11.3 (depending on altitude) at WOT and I can't seem to lean that out so there's tons of headroom offered within the stock system. Hope that helps.

BTW, all the advice I've received and all the research I've researched is that the Unichip is best left out of the system totally.

This is very helpful, as I removed my unichip for fear of running to lean... Currently running stock ECU w/ turbo @ Safari factory 6-7 PSI. Have you found a good medium with boost & AFR's? I'm assuming your running a wide band?

I'll second what turbocruiser said. Similar results with mine. 6-7psi on my AFR looks great. 10.3-12.8 on average. Some give and take if I'm towing WOT up a hard grade. Sometimes even getting into the 8-9 range, but I'd rather have it on the rich side when she's working hard.
