I've had the last 2 days from hell... I won't go into details on the how or why as I would prefer to contact the vendor I am working with to get a partial credit or refund first, so I don't want to trash them on the forum like several others here have in the past. If they don't want to work with me, I might clue ya'll in on the situation, but I hope I can resolve it amicably.

Anyway, how many bolts do I have to remove from the tranny/bellhousing to lift the engine out of the truck. (2F with the 4 speed.)

I got two on the drivers side out, but the passenger side of the motor is blcoked by the transfer case.

Appreicate it,
Fred

The bellhousing to trans is four 12 mm fine thread bolts with 17mm heads. They are exactly in the same place right side to left side.

The bellhousing to engine has two above the bellhousing and four inside, behind the flywheel. Must be the stupidest mounting system on the planet. If your engine is seized it is a HUGE pain to get the p-plate off to access the flywheel bolts.

the two on the pass side, I used a long extension and a universal joint than the socket, just swapped motors, worked on both of them.
