How many balls does it take? (2 Viewers)

Interesting. I really should look into that more! Perhaps in a new thread...

As an update, I filled the tires up to 28psi and the death wobble was gone on the short drive I did. There is still some "feedback" in the steering between 35 - 45, but not much. I would guess that if I was running a steering stabilizer, you wouldn't feel it at all.

the biggest thing to check would be your panhard ends. The preload on the trunion bearings is often overlooked and a source of deathwobble. I run 150% preload from the FSM on my truck

as a daily driver, I would get the tires balanced..

I would not use golf balls personaly..

you have already probably checked this, but after a weekend of wheeling and expedition trip (not seeing pavement or a road to go over 10 mph), we finally made it out of the trail. Heading back down to the gas station to air up and i had major wobble!! WTF!? Got to the gas station and jacked the front up only to find out that my lugs had come loose. My tire was wobbling on the hub.

Yep, I check everything before it leaves the driveway and multiple times during a wheeling trip. This is def tire issue. I'm going to pull the golf balls out today and deal with unbalance tires. Having the tires feel oval is better than the death wobble!
